All Laura Steven Wants For Christmas Is...

5 people you'd want to spend Christmas with:
Hermione Granger, Luna Lovegood, Minerva McGonagall, Ginny Weasley, Molly Weasley. I have lifelong aspirations of starting a girl gang with them, and what better way to kick off proceedings with mulled wine and cheesy Christmas music?

4 Books you want under your tree this Christmas:
Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi, Love Hate & Other Filters by Samira Ahmed, Not Even Bones by Rebecca Schaeffer, and Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsay Cummings. None of these are actually out yet, but I assume Santa has his ways.

3 Christmas foods (You can only choose 3 foods to eat around Christmas time, what would you choose?):
A really excellent cheeseboard, a massive tin of Quality Street, and Baileys.

2 Christmas films you couldn't live without (As long as it's based around the Christmas holidays, that's fine!):
Love Actually. Look, I know it's really cool to hate this now, but I just cannot. I love it with every fibre of my being.

1 Christmas song
Fairytale of New York by the Pogues, because I am incredibly basic. Also, my family has a running joke about Kirsty McColl's tragic speedboat death, which makes us sound like terrible human beings. Which we are, we really are. (Basically, my mum used to say EVERY YEAR "did you know she died in a speedboat accident?" without realising she'd already told us every time. So now it's something of a catchphrase.)
