All ACupofWonderland Wants for Christmas Is...

Hello! I’m Hannah from A Cup of Wonderland, and I am incredibly excited to be writing this post for Zoe’s Christmas Blog Celebration! When I was younger Christmas wasn’t my favourite holiday, (surprising for a child, I know) rather my favourite holiday was Boxing Day. However, now I’m older I am fully invested in Christmas and the Christmas spirit. I even have all my Christmas presents sorted out  - though I haven’t wrapped them yet as I am terrible at wrapping. Anyway, thank you Zoe for inviting me to be part of this celebration and onto the 5 Christmas questions!

5 people you'd want to spend Christmas with:
For me I am quite traditional in the belief that Christmas is for spending time with family. Afterall it wasn’t until a couple Christmases ago that I spent my first ever Christmas at home with my parents. Meaning of course I’d spend Christmas with my Mum Dad, and the dogs too -  they’re very important too! But for the other three people, then it be family members whom have long passed away. Firstly my Granddad Tinny, I can’t remember him much since he died when I was only five years old, I think, but I know my Dad misses him a lot and it be nice to have at least one Christmas with him. Secondly, my Uncle Terry who passed away when I was only 12, we used to spend Christmas with him and I miss it a lot. I know Mum misses her brother deeply and I miss the way he’d make her laugh at Christmas time. Lastly, my first dog Ralph. It may be silly to pick a dog but I miss him loads and I know Toaby misses his brother too and it be nice for Rambo is learn what the strange smell in the house was.

4 Books you want under your tree this Christmas:
Gosh, I haven’t even asked for four books this Christmas, actually I haven’t asked for anything at all! But thinking about it then I would say, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Illustrated Edition, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Illustrated Edition and the Harry Potter: A History of Magic book. Not very Christmassy but I always feel that Harry Potter is Christmassy since the films are always played around Christmas! Alas for the fourth book I have no idea at all!

3 Christmas foods:
My Aunty Mary’s sausages at a must! She’s a butcher which means we always get the meat at Christmas from her and I love the sausages she makes! They’re absolutely divine! Other Christmas foods would be the Artic Roll, which is a must after Christmas Dinner dessert in my family along with the third Christmas food which are After Eight Chocolates!

2 Christmas films you couldn't live without:
The Muppets Christmas Carol which is arguably the best adaptation of Charles Dickens ‘A Christmas Carol’ as well as being the best Christmas film ever! Along with the Muppets, my second favourite Christmas movie is Arthur Christmas, which I completely adore. I think I first watched this film during my first Christmas at home too!

1 Christmas Song:
Fairytale of New York - hands down!

Thank you Zoe for having me on your blog! I loved doing this questionnaire, it really put me in the Christmassy mood and now I can’t wait to start putting my Christmas decorations up this weekend! You can find my blog at acupofwonderland.wordpress.com and on Twitter at @cupofwonderland.
