In the perilous heart of Scion London, a dangerous and valuable poltergeist is on the loose – and it must be caught before chaos erupts on the streets of the capital. Here, the clairvoyant underworld plays by its own rules, and rival gangs will stop at nothing to win such a magnificent prize.

It’s not easy being a teenage witch. Just ask Merry. She’s drowning in textbooks and rules set by the coven, drowning in heartbreak after the loss of Jack. But Merry is not the only one whose fairy tale is over.
Big brother Leo is falling apart and everything Merry does seems to push him further to the brink. And everything that happens to Leo makes her ache for revenge. So, when strangers offering friendship show them a different path, they’d be mad not to take it…
Some rules were made to be broken, right?
The darkly magical sequel to THE WITCH’S KISS burns wickedly bright.

The Song Rising Review

The Song Rising
Rating: 5/5
Buy or Borrow: Buy
Source: Uncorrected Proof, Courtesy of Bloomsbury (Released 7th March 2017)
Following a bloody battle against foes on every side, Paige Mahoney has risen to the dangerous position of Underqueen, ruling over London's criminal population.
But, having turned her back on Jaxon Hall and with vengeful enemies still at large, the task of stabilising the fractured underworld has never seemed so challenging.
Little does Paige know that her reign may be cut short by the introduction of Senshield, a deadly technology that spells doom for the clairvoyant community and the world as they know it.
A few weeks ago, I received a parcel. It was the parcel I have been waiting for. It contained The Song Rising. As a Bone Season Advocate, I am extremely lucky and receive early copies of every book in the series. This book is one of the most hyped up books of 2017 (naturally) and I was so excited to read it. Let me tell you, as always the hype was well and truly warranted. I already know The Song Rising is my favourite book of 2017, just as I knew every other piece of writing of Samantha's would instantly become a favourite.

New Year, New Goals?
Monday, 16 January 2017
Hello my lovelies! I have been reasonably quiet the past few weeks because I am preparing my blog and my YouTube for the year. I set myself a goal (at the time, it did seem quite unrealistic) of reaching 10,000 YouTube views. It seemed unrealistic because at the time, I had about 100 views and about 5 subscribers but I was determined...and guess what? I've done it!
I am so unbelievably proud and so thankful to each and every one of you who bother to read my ramblings and watch my videos. It's obviously not a lot to some people but it was my goal and I'm so glad I've reached it.
New goal: 200 Subscribers
It took me a long time to reach 100 and now my goal is to get to 200. I know I can do this!
Also, another exciting thing that occurred recently. I have a channel trailer!
I am so thankful to @fckyeahhastings for making this trailer for my channel, I am forever grateful.
More exciting news?
I made my own watermark for my channel! Yes, not that exciting but still, I was proud ;) It's in the bottom right of all my videos now!
And last but not least:
I have a freaking custom domain!!!!
Now you can go to nosaferplace.co.uk and it's my blogspot. It took me bloody ages but I managed it. Now just to work on my blog layout and pen down some more video ideas for the year and my blog/channel are ready to go.
I'd really like to know if any of you have any ideas for what you'd like nosaferplace to do this year or other bloggers would like to do a collab with me, whether that be a video, a blog post...or just meeting up for a coffee! Contact me on Twitter, Facebook, email or even drop me a comment below!
I'm so excited for 2017! Speak to you all soon,
